Peaches and cream in crisp pie shell

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 12 soda crackers, crushed (

Method

  • Beat egg whites until soft peaks form when beater is lifted. Add sugar, 2 tblsp. at a time, beating after each addition. Beat to stiff peaks.
  • Fold in crackers, pecans, baking powder and vanilla. Spread on bottom and sides of a greased 9" pie pan.
  • Bake in slow oven (325°F.)
