A summer version of peaches and cream with Honeyed Cream on top


  • tblsp. cornstarch
  • ¼ to ⅓ c. brown sugar
  • ½ c. water
  • 4 c. sweetened sliced peeled peaches
  • 1 tblsp. butter
  • 1 tblsp. lemon juice
  • Batter Topping
  • 1 tblsp. granulated sugar
  • Spiced Honeyed Cream


  • Mix cornstarch, sugar and water. Add peaches and cook until mixture is thickened, about 15 minutes. Add butter and lemon juice. Pour into an 8" round baking dish.
  • Drop spoonfuls of Batter Topping on top hot peach mixture. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in hot oven (400°F.) 40 to 50 minutes. Serve warm, in bowls, with Spiced Honeyed Cream (recipe follows).
