Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • c. sugar
  • c. sifted cake flour

Method

  • Beat eggs 2 minutes, using electric mixer on medium speed. Add sugar gradually and beat about 3 minutes. Add 1 c. cake flour and beat 1 minute longer. Mix in water with few rotations of beaters.
  • Sift remaining ¾ c. cake flour, baking powder and salt together twice. Add to batter; beat 1 minute.
