Method

  • Combine cornstarch, sugar and salt in saucepan.
  • To egg yolks gradually add grape juice, mixing well and blend into cornstarch-sugar mixture, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in butter and lemon juice. Cover and cool.
