A no-bake pie, cool to make in summer—fllling is rich and velvety

Ingredients

  • 9" Graham Cracker Crumb Crust
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • c. sugar
  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • ¼ tsp. peppermint extract
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs

Method

  • Cream butter in electric mixer, adding sugar gradually. Add chocolate, peppermint extract and vanilla, mixing well.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating with electric beater, 5 minutes after adding each egg.
  • Pour mixture into crumb pie shell. Chill at least 2 hours.
