California Brownie Pie

A make-ahead pie you can refrigerate 2 or 3 days—also a good freezer
Ingredients
3 ⅛ tsp. ¾ c
Method
- Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar; beat until very stiff.
- Fold in cookie crumbs, nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly in lightly buttered 9" pie pan.
Bake in slow oven (325°F.) about35 minutes
