Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. round steak
  • c. flour
  • 1 tsp.

Method

  • Cut steak in 1" cubes. Dredge with mixture of flour, paprika, ½ tsp. salt and pepper. Place in skillet and brown well in hot shortening. Top with onion rings. Add water and chicken soup. Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
  • Add potatoes and remaining 1 tsp. salt. Continue cooking 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
