You’re lucky if you have leftovers, for these make tasty cold sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lean beef
  • ½ c. chopped onion
  • ¼ c

Method

  • Cook beef, onion and green pepper in skillet until beef is browned. Pour off excess fat.
  • Add ¼ c. prepared biscuit mix, salt, pepper and ketchup. Cook, stirring frequently, several minutes.
  • Cut butter into remaining 2 c. biscuit mix, until mixture is crumbly. Blend in milk. Turn out on board dusted with a little biscuit mix and knead 8 to 10 times.
