Supper’s ready! Meat and vegetables topped with potatoes in a hot dish

Ingredients

  • ½ c. chopped onion
  • 1 tblsp. shortening
  • 1 lb.

Method

  • Cook onion in hot shortening until golden; add meat and seasonings; brown. Add drained beans and soup; heat; pour into 1½ qt. casserole.
  • Top with frozen potato Snowcaps; brush with melted butter. Bake in moderate oven (375°F.) 30 minutes
