Ingredients
- 10 large, well-ripened pears (4 lbs.)
- 2 tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate
Method
- Peel and quarter pears. Place in slow cooker.
- Cover. Cook on Low 12 hours. Drain thoroughly and then discard liquid.
- Mash or puree pears. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and return to slow cooker.
- Cover. Cook on High 1 hour.
- Place in hot sterile jars and seal. Process in hot water bath for 10 minutes. Allow to cool undisturbed
