Ingredients

  • 6-oz. jar maraschino cherries
  • cups flour

Method

  1. Drain cherries, reserving cup syrup. Cut cherries in pieces. Set aside.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Beat eggs and sugar together until thickened.
  4. Alternately add flour mixture and cherry syrup to egg mixture, mixing until well blended
