Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry lentils, picked over and rinsed
  • 14½-oz. can diced tomatoes

Method

  1. Place lentils, tomatoes, chicken broth, and salt in slow cooker. Stir to combine. Place sausage pieces on top.
  2. Cover and cook on Low 4–6 hours, or until lentils are tender but not dry or mushy.
