Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dried pinto beans
  • cups water
  • ¼ lb.

Method

  1. Cover bean with water and soak overnight, or 6–8 hours.
  2. In the morning, drain and rinse beans, discard soaking water, and put beans in slow cooker.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, including cups fresh water.
  4. Cover. Cook on Low 10 hours.
