Ingredients

  • 1Β½ cups dried navy beans
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 8 slices

Method

  1. Soak beans in 2 cups cold water for 8 hours or overnight.
  2. After beans have soaked, drain, if necessary, and place in slow cooker.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients, except milk, to slow cooker.
  4. Cover. Cook on Low 7–9 hours, or until beans are crisp-tend
