Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry Great Northern beans
  • 1 cup dry red beans or pinto beans
  • 4

Method

  1. Soak and rinse dried beans.
  2. Combine all ingredients except green beans in slow cooker.
  3. Cover. Cook on High 5½–6½ hours, or on Low 11–13 hours.
  4. Stir green beans into soup during last 2 hours.
