Ingredients

  • 4 cups low-fat, low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped

Method

  1. Combine chicken broth, cabbage, onions, and sausage in slow cooker.
  2. Cover. Cook on High 5–6 hours, or until cabbage is tender.
  3. Mix flour and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth.
  5. Gradually stir into hot soup.
  6. Cook, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes, until soup is thickened. Serve.
