Ingredients

  • 2 14½-oz. cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 cups sauerkraut
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 lb. fresh or smoked sausage, sliced

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 3–4-Quart

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on Low 4–6 hours, or until the flavors have blended and the soup is thoroughly heated.

Variation

Add to above ingredients 1 medium onion, chopped, and cup brown sugar.
