Ingredients

  • lbs. boneless veal, cubed
  • 3 green peppers, quartered
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. dried basil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28-oz. can tomatoes

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 4-Quart

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Cover. Cook on Low 7 hours, or on High 4 hours.
  3. Serve over rice or noodles.

Variation

Use boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into chunks, instead of veal.
