Ingredients

  • 3–4-lb. pot roast
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 6-oz. can tomato paste
  • cup horseradish sauce

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 4-Quart

Method

  1. Brown roast on all sides in oil in skillet. Place in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients.
  2. Cover. Cook on Low 8–10 hours.
