Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. stewing meat, cubed
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 14½-oz. can chopped tomatoes
  • 10¾-oz. can tomato soup
  • 5–6 carrots, sliced
  • 5–6 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 2 cloves minced garlic

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 5–6-Quart

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Cover. Cook on Low 8 hours.
  3. Serve with warm bread or cornbread.
