  • 1½–2 lbs. round beef steak
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • ¼ cup

Method

  1. Cut beef into 3-inch × 1-inch strips. Brown in oil in skillet. Drain. Transfer to slow cooker.
  2. In separate bowl, combine soy sauce, onions, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper, and ginger. Pour over beef.
  3. Cover. Cook on Low 5–6 hours.
  4. Add tomatoes and green peppers. Cook 1 hour longer.
  5. Combine cold water and cornstarch to make paste. Stir
