Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
  • cups sliced raw potatoes
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup peas
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • ¼ cup chopped green peppers
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 10¾-oz. can cream of chicken, or mushroom, soup
  • ¼ cup milk
  • cup shredded sharp cheese

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 4-Quart

Method

  1. Layer ground beef, potatoes, carrots, peas, onions, celery, green peppers, salt, and pepper in slow cooker.
  2. Combine soup and milk. Pour over layered ingredients. Sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Cover. Cook on High 4 hours.
