Pizza Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cups long-grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 quart pizza sauce
  • 3 cups shredded cheese, your choice of flavor
  • 1 cup cottage cheese, optional
  • 4 cups water

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 5-Quart

Method

  1. Place ground beef and chopped onion in a nonstick skillet. Brown and then drain.
  2. Mix all ingredients in slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on High for 6 hours, or until the rice is tender.
