Tortilla Bake

  • 10¾-oz. can cheddar cheese soup
  • -oz. pkg. dry taco seasoning mix
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • lbs. ground beef, browned and drained
  • 3 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped
  • sour cream
  • shredded cheese
  • green onions, thinly sliced
  • bell peppers, cut-up
  • diced avocado
  • shredded lettuce

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 3-Quart


  1. Combine soup and taco seasoning.
  2. Cut each tortilla into 6 wedges. Spoon one-quarter of ground beef into slow cooker. Top with one-quarter of all tortilla wedges. Spoon one-quarter of soup mixture on tortillas. Top with one-quarter of tomatoes. Repeat layers 3 times.
  3. Cover. Cook on Low 6–8 hours.
  4. To serve, spoon onto plates and offer remaining ingredients as toppings.
