Holiday Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 15-oz. bottles hot ketchup
  • 2 cups blackberry wine
  • 2 12-oz. jars apple jelly
  • 2 lbs. frozen, precooked meatballs, or your own favorite meatballs, cooked

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 5-Quart

Method

  1. Heat ketchup, wine, and jelly in slow cooker on High.
  2. Add frozen meatballs.
  3. Cover. Cook on High 4–6 hours. (If the meatballs are not frozen, cook on High 3–4 hours.)

Variation

If you prefer a less wine-y flavor, use 1 cup water and only 1 cup wine.
