Cheese Meat Loaf

Cooking Time: 6–8 Hours

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground chuck or ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar or American cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk

Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 4-Quart

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients. Shape into loaf.
  2. Place in greased slow cooker. Cover. Cook on Low 6–8 hours.
  3. Slice and serve with your favorite tomato sauce or ketchup.

Variation

Before baking, surround meat loaf with quartered potatoes, tossed lightly in oil.
