Ingredients

  • 2½–3½-lb. fryer chicken, cut up
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp.

Method

  1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place in slow cooker.
  2. Combine curry, garlic, butter, broth, and onions in bowl.
  3. Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Add ½ cup syrup to curry mixture. Pour over chicken.
  4. Cover. Cook on Low 4–6 hours. Remove chicken from pot. Turn on High.
  5. Stir in prunes.
  6. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water.
