Ingredients

  • 3–4-lb. whole chicken
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • paprika to taste

Method

  1. Wash chicken. Sprinkle all over with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic salt. Place in slow cooker.
  2. Combine tomato paste and beer. Pour over chicken. Add olives.
  3. Cover. Cook on Low 8–10 hours, or on High 3–4 hours.
  4. Serve over rice or noodles, along with salad and cornbread, and sherbet for dessert.
