Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup

Method

  1. Sauté celery, onions, and peppers in oil. Blend in flour and chicken stock until smooth. Cook 5 minutes. Pour into slow cooker.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except seafood and parsley.
  3. Cover. Cook on Low 10–12 hours.
  4. One hour before serving add shrimp and parsley.
  5. Remove bay leaves before serving.
  6. Serve with white rice.
