Method
- If you have time, heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the roast in the hot pan and brown on all sides.
- Place the roast, browned or not, in the slow cooker.
- Add remaining ingredients in the order listed.
- Cover and cook on High 3 hours, or on Low 4–6 hours, or until meat is tender but not dry.
