Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops, ½-inch thick, browned
  • 1 onion, sliced and separated into rings

Method

  1. Place half of onions, garlic flakes, sauerkraut, apple slices, and caraway seeds in slow cooker. Season with half the salt, thyme, and pepper.
  2. Add pork chops.
  3. Layer remaining ingredients in order given.
  4. Pour apple juice over all.
  5. Cover. Cook on Low 6–8 hours, or on High 4 hours.
