Ingredients

  • 4 cups dry black beans
  • 1–2 cups diced ham
  • 1 tsp.

Method

  1. Cover black beans with water and soak for 8 hours, or over night. Drain and pour beans into slow cooker.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover with water.
  3. Cover cooker. Cook on Low 10–12 hours.
  4. Serve over rice.
