Ingredients

  • 3½–4-lb. roasting chicken, cut up
  • 3 onions, diced
  • 1 carrot, sliced

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients except shrimp and rice in slow cooker.
  2. Cover. Cook on Low 2–3½ hours, or until chicken is tender.
  3. Add shrimp and rice.
  4. Cover. Cook on High 15–20 minutes, or until shrimp are done.
