Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • cup flour
  • cups

Method

  1. Melt butter in skillet. Add flour and brown, stirring constantly. Add onions, green peppers, celery, and carrots. Cook 5–10 minutes. Transfer to slow cooker.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, except shrimp, and stir well.
  3. Cover. Cook on Low 6–8 hours.
  4. Add shrimp during last hour.
  5. Serve over rice.
