Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice, uncooked
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • ½ cup butter<

Method

  1. Wash and drain rice. Place in slow cooker.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Mix well.
  3. Cook on High 1 hour, then on Low 2 hours, or until rice is tender but not mushy.
  4. Add cheese before serving.
  5. This is a good accompaniment to baked ham.
