Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. medium beets, peeled and quartered
  • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg

Method

  1. Place beets in slow cooker. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  2. Add cranberry juice and orange peel. Dot with butter.
  3. Cover. Cook on Low 6–7 hours, or on High 3–3½ hours.
