Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 15-oz. cans kidney beans, drained, or other beans of your choice

Method

  1. In a small nonstick skillet, brown bacon until crisp. Reserve drippings. Crumble the bacon.
  2. Combine all ingredients except brown sugar in slow cooker. Sprinkle brown sugar over the top.
  3. Cover and cook on Low 4 hours.
  4. Serve the beans directly from your slow cooker.
