Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. red potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp.

Method

  1. Toss potatoes in water and cream of tartar. Drain.
  2. Layer potatoes and bacon in large slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt.
  3. Mix whipping cream and half-and-half. Pour over.
  4. Cover. Cook on Low 6–7 hours.
