Ingredients

  • cup chopped onion
  • 6-oz. pkg. long-grain and wild rice mix

Method

  1. Spray small frying pan with nonstick cooking spray. Add chopped onions and cook on medium heat about 5 minutes, or until onions begin to brown.
  2. Place onions and remaining ingredients in the slow cooker, including the seasonings in the rice package. Stir well to dissolve seasonings.
  3. Cover and cook on High 2 hours. Fluff with fork to serve.
