Ingredients

  • 6 MacIntosh, or Winesap, or favorite baking apple, peeled or unpeeled, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ cup apple juice

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on Low 3–4 hours, or until apples are as soft as you like them.
  3. Serve warm, or refrigerate and serve chilled. Serve the sauce as a side dish during the main course. Or have it for dessert, topping pound cake or ice cream.
