Ingredients

  • 10–12 large ripe tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. seasoned s

Method

  1. Wash and drain tomatoes. Remove core and blossom ends.
  2. Place the whole tomatoes in your slow cooker. (Do not add water.)
  3. Cover and cook on Low 4–6 hours, or until tomatoes are very soft.
  4. Press them through a sieve or food mill.
  5. Add seasonings. Chill.
