  • About

Halibut or sea bass may be substituted for salmon. The marinade is also excellent with chicken, tofu or vegetables.

Grill over heat, not flame, to prevent flare-ups. You can also use an indoor grill, following manufacturer’s directions for cooking times.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice fresh ginger, peeled (1 Tbsp)
  • 1 clove garlic<

Method

Steel Blade: Drop ginger and garlic through feed tube while machine is running; process until minced. Add soy sauce, 2 Tbsp orange juice, marmalade, sugar, sesame oil and basil. Process until combined, 8 to 10 seconds.

Arrange salmon in single layer in glass baking dish. Pour marinade over salmon and marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes (or refrigerate up to 2 hours).
