  • About

In Britain our equivalent to moose and elk is the red deer and in the West Country (Devon and Cornwall) we hunt this beast on horseback behind hounds. At the time of writing, existing legislation maintains that the stag hunting south of the Bristol Channel is the most effective and humane way of keeping the population under control in the heavily wooded coombs and open moors of the region. Alcoholic cider is also a great product of the region so it is an obvious meld.
