  1. Carefully clean the frames of all internal organs, gills, and blood, slitting the cavity membrane near the spine and removing all blood underneath. If the frames are large, chop them into 3 or 4 pieces each. Wash the frames under cold running water until the water runs clear. Drain and shake dry.
