Every recipe has a story of its own and this one is no exception. It dates back to my childhood when I hated anything with ‘hot spices’ in. I loved cabbage and garlic though, so I smothered my stir fry in creamy yoghurt to mask the heat. A few years later, I came to realise that spice wasn’t so bad after all but still wanted to enjoy my cabbage the way I’d always had it. I often make this dish now because it’s delicious and full of nostalgia. I also love that all the ingredients are so good
