  • 6–9 eggs
  • 3–4 spoons sardine butter
  • 1½– spoons cheese
  • 2–4 rusks
  • ½ spoon butter
  • [6–9 crayfish shells]


    Grease 6–9 crayfish shells with butter made from herrings, sardines, or sprats. Take 6–9 fresh eggs and carefully break 1 egg into each crayfish shell. Sprinkle with Dutch or any other cheese mixed with 1 spoon ground rusk crumbs. Drizzle with butter and place in a hot oven for several minutes until the eggs are set and the tops begin to brown.
