Method

Sprinkle dry wheat flour onto a clean skillet, place over a low fire, and stir with a spoon until the flour browns. Remove from the fire and stir until cool. Pour into a dry jar and store in a dry place.

Before using, mix 1 spoon of this flour with 1 spoon Finnish butter and bring to a boil. This flour is used for strong, dark sauces.
