  • Cold water 1 gallon
  • brown sugar 1 lb.
  • rhubarb

Method

  1. Cut the rhubarb in pieces.
  2. Put them in a tub with the sugar and water.
  3. Let them remain covered up for 14 days.
  4. Then boil up.
  5. Strain the liquid through a hair sieve or cloth.
  6. Then put the liquid in a barrel with the yeast creamed with a little sugar.
  7. Let it work well.
