Ingredients

  • Flour 1 lb.
  • butter and lard 10 oz.
  • baking powder

Method

  1. Sieve the flour, baking powder and volatile salts.
  2. Rub the fat in.
  3. Mix to a stiff paste with cold water.
  4. Roll out to of an inch.
  5. Stamp or prick all over with a fork.
  6. Cut out with round cutter.
  7. Bake in
