Method

Step 1. Follow basic recipe.

Step 2. Follow basic recipe.

Step 3. Add currants and sultanas and mix well. Then put dough into a large, well-buttered ring mould, or into small individual moulds, filling moulds only up to one-third of their height. Put mould in a warm place, covered with a towel, until dough rises to top of tin.
